With a career deeply rooted in the substance use sector, experience in the mental health sector and digital innovation, Kira has become a trusted leader in creating sustainable impact.

Kira’s expertise includes managing social media accounts, developing content, building websites, and crafting cohesive digital strategies that amplify advocacy efforts and engage diverse audiences. Her knowledge informs her advocacy for progressive policies and community-based solutions that prioritize dignity, safety, and inclusivity. These experiences, combined with her lived expertise of both substance use and mental health challenges, have shaped her ability to connect and design strategies that address systemic challenges.

Kira is also a passionate strategist, with a proven track record of leading nonprofits in the recovery and harm reduction spheres. She has built and managed organizations from the ground up, blending her skills in business strategy, program development, and policy advocacy to drive their success.

With a Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) and the pursuit of her Master of Business Administration (MBA) as of August 2024, Kira combines a strong academic foundation with real-world insight to inform her work.
